just noticed netflix has the lucero DVD
killer!
i've been into lucero for a while

had never heard much of DBT until recently

couldn't help but see
a lot of similar good things with both bands

what do you guys think?

i dont really get a lot similarities between the two besides the sorta southern/rocky thing. DBT is a lot fucking darker.

Good bands both though. Never scene or heard any live Lucero. Good stuff?

We've covered the similarities before but if you like Lucero, you'll probably like Slobberbone as well. You should check out some of their stuff.

I thought "That Much Further West" was a great album. I never did hear the one they put out last year, though.

haven't seen them live, yet

was gonna try to catch them at the triplerock on april 8th
but then i just checked the triplerocksocialclub.com site
and it says that 'say anything' is playing that day
fucking yuck

Any of you ever heard Red 40? A couple of the guys from Lucero were in Red 40. Very Jawbreaker-esque. Very good.

in addition to that...i dig slobberbone as well...

dbt is an ok band to me - nothing to get all crazy about
