At this point I want whoever doesn't have a King on the roster to win. I want these guys back in LA safe & sound. There's a rumour Norstrom has a concussion, Frolov might have seperated his shoulder & Demitra just got a puck in the face.

If my math & understanding of the CBA is right he'll be a UFA at about 25. So he'll make 'em pay if they don't

No shit. The Canucks lost 2 of their top 4 defencemen today (Ohlund and Salo). This Olympic tournie has been downright dangerous. The last 25 games of the NHL regular season might feel the impact of these two weeks.

Word on the street is that the NHL participation is gonna end after Vancouver...I dig the olympics, but I'd much rather have no NHL stoppage and a Canada's Cup every few years..

I signed up for the NHL marketing survey thing so they send me links for surverys every so often. I told them I'd rather have a World/Canada Cup played here in North America with NHL rules than the NHL players in the Olympics.

Having games on when everyone is at work doesn't help the NHL 1 bit. Vancouver of course will be better, just like SLC was better than Nagano & Torino. And until I see a team in this tourney rally from a 3rd period deficit to win a game I'm not conviced I like the wider ice. I just think it's too easier to play hide the puck with that extra 15 feet.
