...and now I've found that all of the channels are in black and white only now.

WTF?


Has this ever happened to anyone else? I'm pretty sure that I didn't suddenly become color blind since the other set is working fine. Weird.

When I was a teenager my best friend spilt a cup of coffee down the back of my TV.

After the accident the edges of the picture pulsed psychedelic rainbow colours for the rest of its lifetime. That was kind of cool....some of the time.

Did anyone ever give you one of those paperweight desktop things with a real powerful magnet in the base and a bunch of metal shapes on top that you can mold into little sculptures?

When deciding where to put it in the room, don't put it on top of the TV. Even for a second. It screwed up the picture something fierce, and now I've got permanent brown spots in the upper corners of the picture tube.

So, today I finally got around to investigating this and guess what I found?
The "Picture" bar was on 0, so I cranked that mother up to 11 and now everyone's skin is a bright fluorescent orange. Even the African-Americans.

apparently my cable went out like a week and half ago so i've been without tv. it's been weird.
