i just heard that Dancefloor song, and i'll enjoy it for what it is: cheap, short-lasting fun from a few very very badly-dressed acne-faced youths from England who are at least semi-competent musicians. Beats the shit out of Kaiser Chiefs and all that other crap.

Even a worthless curmudgeon like myself liked the first couple songs, but I got distracted from something else and haven't been back to it yet.

They look like Death Cab for Cutie. For that alone, I won't buy this.

It's been on constant rotation for me...took me about 3 listens to really appreciate it.

After one full listen: A few catchy songs. Nothing glaringly awful about this album at all. But for now, it's just not my cup of tea...it doesn't have the musical depth I appreciate ( i.e. using more than 3 or 4 chords, complicated harmonies, etc.). I'm a snob, sorry. But there are still a few fun tracks.

Great fucking album! I can care less what the haters think. Does it hold up to the hype? Hell no but what could? It's a fun record and will be making noise in my end of the year list.

I like it. I don't love it or hate it, but I like it. I'll probably pick it up in the end.

I heard the album yesterday. Disappointly average. Plus they have that snotty Oasis vibe about them.

i couldn't possibly find anything
as uninteresting as this band's future
(or how this cd ends)
this is the new band to hate

for me

I finally heard this album all the way through for the first time yesterday, and I think what puts this ahead of the Bloc Partys and Kaiser Chiefs of the world are the lyrics, which manage to be cheeky without being stupid or silly. Yeah, it's overhyped, but I definitely like it.
