A friend of mine, who owns a used CD store, has a wife who makes gift baskets to sell in the store. They had one on the counter w/ the 3 Godfather movies, a bottle of wine, pasta and other mob-related stuff. Kinda cool, I thought.

I found a Babylon 5 3 video compilation at a dollar store. I thought it would be a kick to give it to her, and have her make a basket.

What would you put in the basket? I'm thinking a pocket protector, Tang and some sort of Moog/Theramin (sp?) music. What else? Too bad they don't still make those Space Food Sticks.

a slide rule
NASA patch/emblem
some cheesy astronomy book for kids
a William Shatner album

edit: oh, and speaking of Moog...find this one.

I think the William Shatner album is a real winner here.

Also, you can still get freeze dried icecream, couple bucks a serving.

Pop Tarts? In the foil wrapper -- next best thing to those food sticks (and yes, I do remember them).

Some guy ran off with my copy of this in college. Dammit, and now I want to listen to it.
