Didn't "Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel" run a very similar story last year about a disabled basketball manager that got in the last game and nailed a three?

great story. that's the shit i live for.
assholes called me 'rudy' during freshman football -- no real athletic talent.
decided i loved the sport enough to commit.
made the division 1 all-conference team by my senior year.
had enough of sports. took an academic scholarship. do what i fucking want.
yeah, i'm awesome, but not autistic.

reminds me of this kid who went to my high school (after i graduated). he was on real sports with bryant gumbel. his name was kyle maynard and he was a pretty damn good wrestler who had no arms or legs.

Having woken up at 2, being hungover from drinking way too much chai tea at 4 in the morning, I was too vulnerable to watch this.

When I read the headline of the movie clip, I thought it was gonna be a retard who had run onto the court during a game.

Ha, as soon as I read the title of this thread I knew it would be a link to that story. It made me a little teary-eyed when I watched it the other day.
