Ok, here I am....Now somebody tell me where the hell I'm at! I swear you guys are at the end of a hundred mile cul-de-sac, but you probably knew that already didn't you?

Anyway, glad I found my way over here (I think), I know some of the folks hanging out around here (I think), I love music more than life itself (this one I know!).

So what do I like to listen to you ask (I know you didn't, but you wanted too. Admit it!). Well, like the old fellow passed out in the corner over there (hey Toze!) I'm a bit of a twanger at heart. Love to mix folk, roots, Americana, alternative and just about anything else I can grab and see what falls out. I'm prone to fits of classic rock (the real stuff, not radio fodder), and will surprise myself with an evening of big band sounds or jazz vocals. Hmmm...guess I'm a Heinz 57. Anybody up for some Dick Dale?

For better or worse I was known as Dave918 over at AK (wait! don't pull that lever just yet!). I only say that so some of you will know who I am. trying to leave those days buried in the mud, the blood and the beer.
