Anybody seen this? I know there is a ton of intriguing subtext involved, which is probably the point, but the ending is so ambiguous that it is just maddening.

The last scene ended, the lights went up, and the entire theatre full of people just looked at one another. What the fuck just happened? And not in a Broken Flowers that-wasn't-the-point kind of way.

I saw it. I don't think the ending is supposed to make any sense. It just leaves you with more questions. That's kind of the point of the whole movie--make you ask questions. And if you happen to be a white French person, it's supposed to make you ask questions about your feelings regarding race, especially towards Algerians.

Just watched this last night, I haven'd gasped like that at a scene in a movie in a while...my jaw hung open for a bit.
