What a day.

I had an 8th grade boy piss his pants, all over a chair, and on a good portion of my carpet in class today.

And it was picture day.

And he was wearing a suit.

Then in another 8th grade class I had two boys whup the holy hell outta each other.

And me without any whiskey.

You have a funny story.

I thought you were out of teaching. I can't keep up.

I bet that there is at least one teacher who was thirsty/would have "cleaned" that up when they heard about it.

Sucks for that kid, though. Big ups to him for rocking a suit though.

Agreed.

I feel for the kid. It could have been a medical reason i.e. minor illness, medications etc that could have spurred it. No one that age wets themselves without a good reason.

And with his age I'm sure the other kids will be nasty as hell to him. Poor guy.

Apparently that happened at the beginning of the year in his homeroom.

The other kids weren't giving him a hard time. They were giving me a hard time for not letting him go to the bathroom, but they've got scheduled bathroom and water fountain breaks, and I've been yelled at by administration for letting them go to the bathroom.

Now I'm sure I'll get yelled at for this. First the parents will yell at administration, who will in turn yell at me, and then let the parents yell at me.

Man, i don't want to go to work tomorrow.

Most of them were rocking suits and evening gowns... a few tuxes.

Graduating 8th grade is a BIG deal. Alot of them won't graduate high school, and their parents don't expect them to, so 8th grade pictures are as big a deal as say senior pics.

I'm sure if you try harder you can make that more scandalous. Try and fit "8th grade boy" in that headline somewhere.

If i end up getting screwed, no resume is going to help me on this one.

I really like the world "debacle"

Phil, I'm probably stating the obvious but You really need to be living the rockstar life out in LA not cleaning up the piss of 8th graders in Chicago and taking shit for it to boot.

No joke.

I hear that there's some kind of sideman head hunter type guy in L.A.

I need to find him and get on the list.

That's on the to-do list when I come in April.
That and scope out a neighborhood to move into, maybe management if i can get it, that kind of thing.

Scheduled friggin bathroom breaks??? IN an elementary/junior high school?? OHhh please. This pisses me off.

They're kids, not machines. You can't predict when their bladders are ready.

The Administration sounds like a bunch of fucking control freaks.

Yeah I'd be pissed at them and you, you should have just let the kid go to the bathroom and taken the heat later rather then watched the poor kid humiliate themselves.

As a side note, because of the meds my son is on he has bladder issues. School knows better not to let him go when he says he has to go or face my wrath. I'm a bitch on wheels when it comes to my kid.

No offense to Bill, but I think I'd place a wager on Charli if they got in the ring.

If my scary wife'd let me gamble, of course.

Hard to get PMS Jon when you're 5 mos pregnant.

And thinking someone is a complete dickhead and telling them off for it does not always mean a woman has PMS. It's called being honest.

1. Didn't know.

2. I thought your response to his comment was a tad harsh.

while Bloor's headline almost made me piss my pants, this could be the saddest thing I have read in some time. Poor kid.
