Color me unimpressed, and i was a pretty big proponent of this band.

The EP is better? I know they're in town next month or something and I did want to go, but not if the full length is boring.

They were kind of boring live too. I haven't listened to the new album yet though.

I liked it a bunch at first, but its become a bit samey with repeated listens. A few absolute highlights, but not as good as I originally believed.

i can sortta understand the dissapointment. and whats with the post-rockish vocal-less bit in the middle. i really like some of the tracks tho. that said, the ep contained 5 solid tracks start to finish.

We were just semi-asked to open for them at NorthSix in late March...

Good idea?

Yeah it's totally worth it. The record might be boring at times but they're good live.

I think so. They're buzzing quite a bit.

So, what's the deal with the full length? I'm listening to the EP again and realize I really like this, a lot. Though, I just read the little blurb on Amazon about next week's release and it sounds depressing. No Britt on this one, which is why maybe the EP sounded great? I'll sample it.

On a different note, I was just scanning the playlists for the Left Of Center station on Sirius and Liquid Todd (who I guess is still on FNX too?) has a show on there and has played the Bon Savants a few times.
