Just got these out of the library. Comics are nice because I can read and listen to music at the same time (which I don't do with traditional books). Anyway, which should I start first?

I'll choose sin city. If only because ofthis trailer.

I don't know too much about the comics themselves though.

I'd go with Sin City. I'm guessing you have this one.

There's a couple of other good Sin City books too. That Yellow Bastard and The Big Fat Kill are good.

It has a different cover than that, but I'm pretty sure it's the first series.

Yeah, that trailer makes that movie look basically like the best action film of the last 20 years.

Yeah I noticed they all have new covers when I went to the Dark Horse website.

This is probably it:

I was never a fan of Sin City, but maybe I should give it another chance. I'm only just now reading The Dark Knight Returns ( ) and, of course, loving it.

I voted League II, though, because I just read it, and it was a blast.

Sure does. If it turns out as crisp and stark as the trailer, it is going to be a hell of a movie!

Nope, that's not it either. But when I typed the ISBN into Amazon, it came up with the first cover you posted. The stamp that the library puts on it is dated 1994, so perhaps the cover is too old for the internet.

Screw 'em both, read 30 Days of Night or one of the other Niles/Templesmith works (Dark Days, the sequel; any of the Cal McDonald collections; not so sure about Fused) or Blade of the Immortal.

I voted for Sin City.

I'd recommend anything by Niles & Templesmith too.

You should pick this up too.
