All three are amazing. Start with the first one and work your way through.

Yeah, I have Let It Come down, and nothing on it grabs me like that one track.

Laser Guided Melodies may well be my favorite album of all time.

Get everything by them, including the two singles compilations and the live album.

"Let it Come Down" is their only stinker, although "Amazing Grace" is pretty dang inconsistent.

By means of followup, I love Spiritualized so much, my wife and I actually scheduled to see them as our honeymoon (essentially). To be fair, St Lucia was really our honeymoon three months later, but we got married on Saturday, woke up and watched the Talledega race from 2-6 and then went and had a cheap Chinese dinnner and a Spiritualized show.

So anyway yeah - start at the beginning and enjoy every note. For that matter, start at Spacemen 3 - Recurring (side two of the album only) and work to the 'Any Way That You Want Me' single, then onto the rest of the Spiritualized canon, in order (use allmusic or the official Spiritualized website discography for reference). At the point where you think it all sucks - stop. It's really the only way to listen to Spiritualized and give them a fair shake.

I think the band went wrong around the time of 'Let It Come Down' but you could argue that 'Pure Phase' was their last good, adventurous album and you wouldn't necessarily be wrong.

The only thing I have is Let It Come Down... This thread has made me think that should not be.
