I hadn't lost my wallet or keys in YEARS, at least not LOST them like OPA is saying. Misplaced, sure. It's the old "Watch, Wallet, Spectacles, Testicles" check. But for me its keys, wallet, phone, and if I don't have one of them I notice pretty quick.

But the other morning I straight left my checkcard at Starbucks. Didn't notice for a few hours. Opened my wallet to get gas and almost shit my pants. Went back to Garbucks and they had it.

And then just yesterday, a lady I hadn't seen working in a while asked me if I had gotten my card back. Gotta love the South ;)

I remembered another good one. I bought a TT a few weeks ago. I was assembling/balancing it and had to stop to answer the phone. When I came back five minutes later, I couldn't find the instruction manual. After spending about 20 minutes looking for them (including sorting through the trash) and another 10 minutes cursing and throwing things, I decided it would probably be best to stop under the assumption they'd turn up naturally when I stopped looking. They never did and several days later I had to call Music Hall and have them email me a new instruction manual in pdf form.

I'm assuming you mean turntable... for a moment, I thought you were assembling your own Audi TT.

billy g is my long lost soul brother. I live in a world of lost. I dug through trash on Monday morning trying to find something or other.

Chris, seriously, get a state ID. I don't know why it's such an issue for you. Stop hemming and hawing and get ye ass to the DMV.

I always thought it was a requirement for all US citizens over 18 to have either a drivers license or State ID anyways.
