I've heard three songs and like them. The album's on my shopping list.

It's indie pop. The guys used to be called Grumble Grumble or something like that.

I saw them, as Grumble Grumble open for the Bon Savants a while back. They were pretty good. Covered NMH's "Naomi".

(Okay so they were both opening for the Wrens)

They actually changed their name right before they went on that night. Like, literally 3 hours before the show (at the bbq), they were GG, then after their soundcheck, they apparently got the word that they had to change the name. So GHEH it is.

Matt's a really swell guy, btw. I know a lot of you have your (justifiable) qualms with pfm, but he's one of the good guys.

Oh right - good band, too!

I heard Ryan Schreiber on the radio yesterday, but he came on just as I lost the station. His first song was Cat Power covering the Everly Brothers' "All I Have To Do Is Dream".

Why would they have to change their name?

Ryan is on the radio now?

Name was too similar to another band and they were asked to change it.

He said it was on the Japanese version of something, probably The Greatest, but I can't remember.

Or you can just follow Kevin's link.

That's right - it's a bonus track from the Japanese import of "The Greatest."
