Ok, you're not as bad as you sound. And I don't take this any more seriously than I should, I promise.

(Please resist the temptation to pick this apart.) What you don't know yet is that what makes this place good is the sense of it being communal, sortof. Most of us come here a lot, and have done so for a while. Thus, the place is nice. When somebody new comes in and has the "keyboard cowboy" mentality (and it's usually somebody like 17 or 18 years old), where you have fun by being snarky to strangers, it's not what we're interested in.

We all know each other, there are inside jokes, etc. We're not exclusionary, we just don't like true street teamers, which I don't think you are.

I've yet to go to this venue, so unfortunately I can' offer any advice on that. I can tell you lots of Fishtown stories though. None of them are good.

Here's the music-related portion of my post: I feel some pity for the Tattletales. On the Pop Punk Bored any promotion of the band is like preaching to the converted, and on this board, most poppy punk touting falls on deaf ears (and I've been trying for years...granted it's not like the Shrimp Boat thing where Todd thought it was his job to promote the band, but for the most part my love of simple-simon 3-chord sugar pop gets no respect). no respect i tell ya.

can't we all get along based on our common love of Damone, or perhaps...food?
