that I don't recognize or know any of the songs listed as the iTunes Music Store Top 10? I don't even know who half of these people are. I'm either getting old or I've distanced myself enough from the "popular" stuff that I should be thankful.

Here's the list I'm referring to:

iTunes Top Songs
1. So Sick - Ne-Yo
2. Temperature - Sean Paul
3. You’re Beautiful - James Blunt
4. I’m N Luv (Wit a Stripper)... - T-Pain & Mike Jones
5. Bad Day - Daniel Powter
6. Unwritten - Natasha Bedingfield
7. Always On Your Side - Sheryl Crow & Sting
8. Shake That - Eminem
9. Stupid Girls - P!nk
10. Everytime We Touch (Radio Mix) - Cascada

the sean paul song is good, but it was good last summer and i've been sick of it for a while.
i'm not sure why it's gotten so huge all of a sudden.

Well I'm 22 and wouldn't recognize any of those songs if I heard them, so I think it's that they just SUCK. Probably a good sign that you don't know them.

I agree, I think it's good. Besides, most people (even the folks who LIKE this kind of music) will have forgotten the song in 2 years' time.

Not the Jame Blunt song, that will haunt us forever.

My dream girl Danielle Brisebois wrote that Natasha Bedingfield song. Other than that, I don't like any of the tracks on the list.

We should all thank Jesus Christ that Eminem chose "Shake That" instead of "Fack" as his latest single. The latter is probably the worst song he ever made.

Yeah, I worked in a record store two months ago and I have no idea who Ne-Yo, T-Pain, or Cascada are.

So... good.

I haven't heard most of those, but James Blunt and Natasha Bedingfield are two plagues that hopefully pass soon.
