Seriously, from Raekown to Jeezy, its about Rocks.

This from Li'l Flip just made me laugh:
"Around my way, ain't nobody watching Matlock/ We tryin' to hot-wire cars and break padlocks/ Turn soft to hard, drop it in Gladlocks."

Discuss.

All I keep thinking about is my busride to school. There is a connection.

there is so much good rap that isn't about crack.

you're forgetting all the amazing songs about pot and coke and ho's and rims and blow jobs.

Ok...I would like to say this and get it out of the way:

JEEZY CANNOT FUCKING RAP. That's why he raps about crack. I would know, 'cause my brother looks up to him like Michael Jordan or some shit.

As far as I'm concerned, the average grime rappers can easily outrap a good deal of American rappers. And I rarely hear them talk about crack or drugs at all(though admittedly, they do love their guns.)

Dude, Flip is pretty tight.

That Souls of Mischief album could make a list of my all time dissapointments, considering the awesomeness of "93 til Infinity."

Maybe I should say all the best rap being made now?

And, yeah, you still my dog, Shiv.

Should have clairified: THE SONG "93 til Ininity" the rest of the album is pretty meh.

As well as could be expected. I forgot I d/l/d it and it came up on random a while back. Its back in heavy rotation. That and those old school mixes Dalen posted a long time ago usually keep me tight with the old school jams.
