General season anger. Everyone's waiting for the ice to crack. January and February are brutal months.

It's 75 and sunny here. What I like to call "Beer Drinking Weather."

I've about had it every damn day lately, with the roads being un-motorcyclable. Means I gotta ride the bus with punkass teens, druggies, drunkies, mutants, etc. Triples my commute time and my blood pressure.

do you really think anyone over at hipinion even HAS $100K? Come on, we're talking real people and real money, not some board persona and their trite 22 year old fantasy world.

It mostly involves the poker site I play at and a huge cheating scandal that was uncovered.

Nick Sylvester was probably on his way until recently.

AKA "Danger Sundays". It was 70 and sunny here yesterday and not a cloud in the sky.

Days like that, especially on a lazy Sunday, just scream sit outside on a deck and drink beer or margaritas.

Yeah, something I have done sooo many times.

there's so many people there that one of them has to have some cash, though $100k is pushing it.

The WI version of that is sunny and 45 degrees this time of year. People come out in shorts. It's downright exciting.

honestly, i think people have been a lot nicer lately.
or maybe i'm just getting to know some of you a little better.

this place is just like the other boards i'm on. it ebbs and flows.
sometimes there's more love than drama. sometimes there's more drama than love.

we should have someone do the equivalent of a daily news report of the obner happenings and what threads have nothing to do with their titles. I nominate someone else.

I think the phenomenon to which Todd is referring likely has more to do with everyone being so comfortable with each other, that no punches are really ever pulled. If somebody's annoyed with someone else, they don't hold their tongue about it, whereas we used to be much more of a tongue holding kind of place. Nobody ever really seems to be worried about offending or pissing off someone else, because there's kind of a communal comfort level here. Or something to that effect. We've morphed into cybersiblings.

And that same familiarity is what makes it wierd oft times for newbies.
