Anyone care to explain to me why this movie was/is being praised? I thought this was straight up stupid with minimal funny parts.

The main character dancing to a Jamiroquai song and Lafawnduh were a tad amusing, but besides that, this was a boring movie in my opinion.

I really didn't know what this was about before I watched it, which means I wasn't expecting a damn thing.

it was really boring and completely ridiculous and a little bit amusing. i can't say that i quite liked it, but i'd rather watch it then a shitload of other movies. i think it was lame.

Got 2 tickets to Napoleon Paradise yesterday - one for myself, one as a gift...Will probably be picking up 2 more today or tomorrow...

And, if Nap Dynamite is sold out, go with Shawn of the Dead. I like them both, but prefer the latter...

I enjoyed it for what it was. I didn't leave the theater disappointed or blown away. Just satisfied.

It was ok, but my friend hyped it as "the funniest movie ever," so I was bound to be disappointed. It was amusing and I'd prob put it on in the background while playing poker or something, but I'm not gonna seek out to watch it again anytime soon.

I laughed a couple times, I guess.

I saw it shortly after watching Life Aquatic. That movie was funny.

Found it kind of boring.

Thought they overdid it trying to be weird and funny.

These are my sentiments as well. Although I chuckled at his repeated exclamations of "GOD!!" and "IDIOT". Something familiar there.

I'm sure it's not as cool as The Life Aquatic, but it's still funny as shit. I really think it's one of those movies that's alot funnier the second time you see it. Or the third, fourth, and fifth in my case.
