Brothers Karamazov.

I just finished Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man for the second time. I really love that book.

I'm reading Requiem for a Dream now. It's pretty good. It goes quick.

Read the fine print.

I like how he talks about waking up early, running accross campus to fuh, and then running back, as sort of a pre-work out.

I was disappointed by how not scared I was reading this. I probably should've gotten the original version with the bloody fur and shit in it to do it right.

My favorite authors are in the thousands, but I'll go with Douglas Coupland (who might be falling off that real quick) and Jeffrey Eugenides. Oh and Nabokov and Steve Erickson

Favorite Book: probably Jesus Son or Pale Fire

I think I still consider John Irving my favorite author. I haven't really had a reason to rethink it.

Right now I'm mid-way through King's Gunslinger series, and it's holding my interest.

Probably one of those two or Miss Wyoming.

J-Pod is about Japan, but how I have no idea. There's some exhibit listed on his site (www.coupland.net) that looks pretty awesome though.

Too many books to list but Catch-22 is like we used to say "unfuckwithable."

I credit reading this in 10th grade to making me realize that most of the shit we read in school was worthless.

What THE FUCK about Scarlet Letter relates to a 15 year old male?

Why not get kids reading what they like, and get 'em to work up to "great literature"?

I had a class in 6th grade where I had a book report due every week, and the teacher didn't care what the book was. So, I read about a million quickie sports bios. Was it high art? No. Did it make me 1) Read and 2) get my assignments in? Yes...and I still know more about Eddie Matthews than any 28 year old should.

Pride and Prejudice almost killed my desire for reading in the 11th grade.
