Seriously, I thought this whole Fast and the Furious car thing was over but I saw a SERIOUS Civic with fucking gull-wing doors at the QT after work today. WTF? I thought this shit had taken its place beside low rider trucks as an unfortunate passing fad.

Also, people with graduation tassles hanging from their rear view mirrors. I don't know why, but I've seen a few lately. Please. Just. Stop.

I saw a Heavy Chevy Caprice with ORANGE candy paint on 25"s... and the fucker was higher than my Envoy. I chuckled. Then I turned up Jeezy and smiled at 'em.

I love the new Volkswagen commercials. They poke fun at this phenomenon quite effectively.

Civics are to these kids what camaros and mustangs were to our dads. Somehow. I can't explain it, but it's true.

Yeah, I get that. Dude you should have seen this shit with the gullwing doors, Ky. I mean...it was cool even though the paint job sucked. (big NOPI symbol)

There is a Jap-Car trick shop right next to one of the stores. They used to test cars on the side street which was awesome to watch but the coppers shut it down.

Do they also do the picture of the girlfriend by the tachometer?

Also, those VW commercials are a disaster.

There's this guy with an electric blue lowrider truck, maybe a Mazda, and on the back window it says SHATTERING EGOZ. It's funny because he's always out there toweling it off with help from his five or six Asian chicks with cutoff shorts.

uh, no.

remember i used to work in this industry and let me tell you those import models are some of the dumbest bitches i've ever met in my life. the hottest & nicest & smartest one i've ever met was hiromi oshima(who was also a playboy model). majority of the cars are lame also because it's all show and no go. at least at hot rod shows, those cars have HORSEPOWER and can run.

i tell you, the whole import racing thing is so 1994. nothing's changed since then.

p.s. they're filming fast & the furious 3 in downtown la. HAHA. my goodness....

I got followed down the avenue after work by a guy in a sky-high pickup truck. When he pulled up next to me, I think my head was about as high as the top of his front tire.

I could only shake my head. :wanker:

HAHA. i think those types of cars annoy me more than rice rockets... when i used to live in orange county, there was NOTHING but high pickup trucks. "yeaaaaah brah, i'm so cool bumping my blink 182 in my raised truck!"

at least rice rockets, you can run them over if you have a big car.

Some parts of Mississippi and Louisiana will jack anything up like Civic. and I'm not talking the occasional vehicle. Like almost a whole town of them.

I never get tired of chuckling at cars that get $1000 rims and wings and scoops that go nowhere and shit, but the thing leaks oil and doesn't have a muffler.

Spend money on the fucking engine first.

Those VW spots were awesome, but a lot of people "pimp" those things too. I wonder if they alienated their fanbase.

They have to do something to commemorate it - it's the last thing of value they'll ever do in their miserable little lives.
