Lighten up, assholes.

Of course it's preachy, nonsensical and retarded. That's the damn point.

I bet all of one out of every ten of those reviewers ever saw the cartoon when they were younger.

The movie was uneven and lightweight, but the people playing the Junkyard Gang were good and the scene with Cosby's actual childhood friends at the end was very nice.

Keenan Thompson did a fine job with a character that is basically impossible to play correctly.

My kids loved the movie and I got a kick out of it.

It got three stars in eye magazine here in Toronto (one of the free weeklies that is usually pretty "hip"), while The Life Aquatic got only two stars in the same mag. Not all critics are savaging it, some are taking it for what it is. And man, there are far worse films out there to savage! Glad you and your kids liked it.

The actor playing Bill was way more Denzel than Cosby, though. Though, Cosby was quite the studhoss during his I Spy days.

At 32 years old, I wouldnt pay to see it, but definintely will rent it or catch it on cable....I loved the cartoon growing up, and the newly released DVD boxsets are on my list of stuf to get.

I use to have a long sleeve brown 'Brown Hornet' shirt as well....Dont know where it went...

I saw the trailer during Spongebob, and then again during Polar Distress.

I want noooooo part of this one.

And who told anyone they should remake "Flight of the Phoenix"? There's a bubbling vat of battery acid waiting for them in hell.

Should it be ravaged instead of savaged? Ravaged seems to make more sense to me.

No. I used the word I wanted to use. Savage is a transitive verb meaning to attack or treat brutally. Ravage is a regular verb meaning to wreak havoc or commit destructive actions on. I used the right one for what I wanted to say. Savaging implies conceptual intent and judgement of that being savaged. Ravage only implies destroying.
