Definitely. And it means there's no conclusion to the trial, so his supporters can go on believing that he was a great man (not that they would have accepted a guilty verdict anyway, but you know what I mean - for posterity it would have been great for him to be convicted).

I wonder whether The Hague's zest to catch Mladic and the other guy will wane now?

From what I've read, the prosecution will probably ratchet up their effort to capture the remaining baddies. They don't want to see their several years of investigation gone to waste.

Additionally, it has been made plain by ICC watchers that a thorough inquiry into the death must be made so that Milos's same followers cannot create a murder-conspiracy fable that goes that Slobodan was killed in order to cover for a lack of evidence of genocide.

I heard that there was discussion of suicide. A purposeful misadministering of meds. Any truth to that from what you all have read?

From what little I have read, that theory is still unsubstantiated. I guess will have to wait for autopsy.
