Possibly because I don't feel like I have to wash thoroughly after I persist on boards like CMJ, Obner, Black Cat Bone and a couple others.

Hipinion has a certain percentage of dudes who really love their hate and bile, even if some of it is pretend. Doesn't bug me too much but there's only so many hours in the day and eventually I've gotta do something useful.

Plus, I'm more than 38 years old. There's only so long that watching people act like junior high bullies will stay entertaining.

I think that Hipinion's "unwashed high school kid" reputation is undeserved. Rough around the edges? Sure. Carefree and crass? Absolutely. :sad:

Nathan, there's some great characters on that board and some very smart people. I didn't mean to imply that the whole thing is juvenile, just certain people.

I’m over it, I have tried to become part of that board but it’s useless. I have been there for over a year now and have less than 100 posts. At first I only wanted to post about music but that well dried up ages ago. Later I went and posted about non-sense but without being a legend or whatever it mean nothing. I happen to like a handful of people over there but found it’s not worth it if the majority of it drives me crazy.

And some of the threads (and posters) are stupid and juvenile, but a lot of it is pretty damn entertaining.
