Fucker, couldn't he at least give me a D? I hated that fucking class. I don't even know if D- is a passing grade. Dammit. I'm wondering now whether I should repeat the class or not.

Have any of you ever gotten a D- and what did you do?

I was always under the impression that "C" was for credit.

if its a passing grade, makes me wonder if it was really a failing grade, but the teacher did what he could to get you over the hump, so you wouldnt have to take it over....?

Apparently not. But at 32, I'd rather be in school and having the freedom to do what I please as opposed to being married and having to ask my wife if I can go out and play.

D- in most of my college courses were failing grades. You had to get a C to stay in the program.

Seems like he's forgotten how to interact civily with human beings, as well.

I think a D- was a passing grade for me in the general classes but for classes in my major I had to get a C or above to pass. The only D- I ever got was in typing but that was in high school, not college.

I think that's the case with me as well. Well, at least I hope so.

At school I went to my first two Computing classes and then I just hung out in the 6th form common room playing cards and attending to the home brewing kit we had going under the sink.

At the final exam I filled my name and school in at the front of the paper, turned the page and literally didn't know the answers to a single question. I didn't even bother trying to fill in anything. I just sat there for two hours and handed in a blank paper.

I got graded a 6 (F) which is a low a mark as you can possible get.

I also got an E in Woodwork (cos I never finished the table I was building) and an E in Physics, but I missed two months of that class cos some big guy knocked the shit out me.

I didn't think D- was an achievable grade, just like F+.

Why the fuck don't they just give us number grades? I hate the schooling system.

They let me take the rest of my chem classes when I passed 177 (the first of the regular chem classes) with a d-. I suppose when I finally do try to actually get a diploma, that might end up tripping me up, but I have to pass organic first.

A few more of them D - 's and he will be.

Just think, they specified the minus to distinguish the performance from the regular D students. Nice.
