The radio spots for that "Never Blend In" campain that Henny is running mentions even more prominant African American icons than Marvin (Jackie Robinson, Ali, etc.) as examples of "never blending in" which of course means drinking some Henny and gettin' yo swerve on....

St. Ides flavored malt liquor - never blend in...and put it in a brown bag for when you ride the bus home.

Yeah, that's pretty much awesome. Also, Marvin looks like Blacula in those billboards.

That is such an awesome set of photos from that era, though. For me, these people might as well as crowbarred commercial jingles over the whole "What's Going On" record. Seems sacreligious.
