not yet... I'm not home yet. For those of us in cold weather areas, found a GREAT hot drink at a local restaurant (Caldera, rparis, if you're interested).

2 parts bourbon whiskey (I use Maker's Mark or Knob Creek)
1 part Tuaca (I used orange curacao instead)
hot apple cider

Amazingly tasty.

edit: ok, so it's not SCOTCH whiskey... but it's whiskey-related. ;)

i have been to caldera (when i used to live real close to it) but haven't been back. the only thing is i typically HATE hot alcoholic drinks like irish/spanish coffee, etc. make me sick. i should give caldrera another try sometime.

In the other thread I had mentioned the Balvenie 12.. but try the Dalmore.. I like that a bit better than the Balvenie. However, the Balvenie 15 is something you should really try.. smooth stuff.

Good on you for nursing one bottle since September.

You caught me on the one night that I'm puffing (wow, really strong) herb instead of draining the bottle of 15 yo Glenfiddich Solera Reserve that my dad left me after skiing. I can't help but drink a bit nightly.
