 Post subject: NMR: Crossbreeding animals

We have the Shrine Circus this week at the arena I work at, and the Circus people have this thing called a Zedonk. It is a donkey bred with a zebra to have stripes. It is kind of disturbing and freaks me out a bit. I don't know why you would crossbreed those two and I wonder if those animals actually mated with each other. It just makes me cringe to think about it.

i don't think it's that disturbing if they don't have to genetically modify them in order to get it to work.

I think it creeps me out due to the fact the thing is about 3.5ft tall and looks exactly like a Zebra. It just doesn't seem natural

I wonder why they decided they decided Zedonk was a better name than Zebronkey.
