Hi. I'm going to FL on vacation later this week, whereupon I will be purchasing an iPod. As such, I am trying to load up on as much goodness as possible, and have these requests:

• any Devo
• any Jandek
• more Zappa
• certain Neil Young albums

... I'll add to this as it comes to me ... your help would be greatly appreciated ... contact me if you see me connected ... I am currently obtaining some other stuff you are wont to want to hear ...

thx, jls

I have most of Neil Young's output. And I think FT does, now, too. :)

I have the good Neil Young albums (and some of the not so great ones). If anyone can hook me up with the first 2 Robyn Hitchcock + the Egyptians albums (encoded at a good bitrate with good software), I'd be a happy man.

How about you Font People?
I'm looking for Meridien, for a PC. Preferably PostScript.
Anyone?

I have pretty much all of Devo, all of Neil Young's 70's material, and a lot of Hitchcock. Which albums specifically are you looking for?

I'm not on CC that often any more but I could arrange to rip them and put them on sometime this week.

Not comparable in sound, but the Minutemen's Double Nickels On The Dime was from the same scene and record label. It's on my share; check it. Could rip the Flag's Damaged for you tonight if nobody else has it.

I'd appreciate Damaged, please. I'm all over the Minutemen, course.

BLUEGRASS! If you have any amazing bluegrass, let me know. Patricularly any Garcia/Grisman/Old & In The Way stuff. Any Leo Kottke other than 6 & 12 strings.

thx in adv

on an alcoholic note, i found 3/4 of a bottle of semi-flat champagne in the lunchroom fridge, nobody else is in the lab but me, so i'm imbibing as i work.

cheers!
