eh?

KEXP is splooging all over these guys. I've heard one song, but I'm wondering how the album is.

Any word?

I like this album, but I haven't listened to it much. So Z may be right.

I hate it when I own an album and know that I enjoy it, but haven't listened to it enough to provide a comment that is worthwhile. This is that time. I remember really digging their live show and from what I can remember from the album, it is worth looking into. "Cowbell" is the strongest track though in my opinion.

Listening to it right now and enjoying it, but haven't heard enough to comment. Definitely worth looking into.

I thought something pretty similar when I heard "Cowbell" on KEXP yesterday. Seems like Pitchfork is on a big Talking Heads kick lately.

It's fucking great. If you're only gonna check out one song make it "Insistor", but the entire album is really, really good.

A friend just gave me a mix with a Tapes 'n' Tapes track, but I haven't listened to it yet. That was the first I've heard of them though. I'll give it a listen today.

These guys are playing here in Lincoln on April Fools Day with Eagle*Seagull, one of the up and comers in this area. I'm looking forward to this show.

No, they sound like Arcade Fire, not like CYHSY.

Thanks for the links, dudes. I've got about half the album now, and it's alright. Kinda like Arcade Fire and CYHSY, but not too much. I think I like this better than CYHSY, but it's probably not something I'd buy.

Slosh - I edited the link out of your post. Others can contact you privately if they want the album. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping obner lawsuit-free.

Another great Obner recommendation.

I downloaded one song, Manitoba just to try and see if it was worth my time and I'm pretty impressed by it. Now I'm looking forward to hearing the whole thing.

If anyone wants a YSI, let me know....
