I'm one step closer to joining the military-industrial complex. :)

They want to set up another interview with me, which can only be a positive thing, but I was wondering what usually happens during the second interview? I'm supposed to call them on Monday, but I want to prepare for it way ahead of time.

Be sure to wear some kind of uniform with epaulettes to the interview and you'll be sure to impress them.

I was gonna post "Loosen up that gag reflex" but this works as well.

Borg will be leading the charge for Lindsay Graham in 2020 ;)

Don't worry, they still apply to everyone else.

The second interview is their way of weeding through the finalists. If they started with behavioral questions, they'll probably move into more solid, tangible territory. They may ask more specifics about your history, what programs you've used, dig into details of past work, etc.

You should know a lot about their recent performance history, their press releases, any disputes / issues they've been dealing with, and have an intelligent opinion there-upon. Make sure that when shit happened to you in the past, it ended well, with you learning from it, and not being bitter. Happy happy happy. And it never hurts to lick your lips a lot, maybe stare at the guy's crotch, look hungry.

For me to take my job required that I figure out where my ethical boundaries lie, and I pretty much decided that short of working for a handgun company or a military contractor, all bets were off. Good luck with this one, never post about anything ever again.

I have been dealing with this looking for internships. Haliburton shows up to recruit, and I get "why didn't you talk to them?" from my people. Same for Phillip Morris. Nope nope nope. Not why I went back to school. But it doesn't mean I can't find work, just that I have to seek people out sometimes.
