Just to let you know, the italics html tag doesn't work in the header of a html page (at least in my browser - IE)

Also, again, great stuff. Look forward to the final 2 as well as the rest of your reviews in the upcoming year.

Hooked me right away but didn't have the staying power. Still a Top 20 contender, though.

I SO did not get this record. I picked it up when I first started hanging out at CMJ, because it was getting muchos love. I plain don't like it.

One of the most overrated albums of the year. Vanderslice does nothing to me other than annoy me with his voice and pretentious lyrics.

One of a few January releases that remained in my top 20.

Does anyone else think that January releases usually get shafted in the best of polls? It seems to me that every year early releases are often forgotten.

Oh, and I haven't heard this one yet. Want to though based on FT's recommendation.

Unlike some of the other albums on my list, this is actually one I really can understand not everyone liking, and possibly even some outright hating. JV isn't for everyone, but then again (as is the case with me), neither is Dylan.

<--- double checks

Feb. 26?!?!?!? I could have sworn I had it earlier than that. My bad. Still pretty early, though. Thanks for the correction, Tommy.
