I went to a gay club last night....

For a drag night, no less. Suffice it to say, it was probably one of the worst decisions I've made in my entire life (yet, not the worst one of the night -- that's how fucked up it was

). I mean, Jesus Christ, how much bad techno can one person take?

That, and I understand how fish in an aquarium feel. I mean, you can just feel people watching you...

Though the drag show wasn't too bad, as much as it was oddly compelling. But is it really drag if half the guys have real(ish) tits?

Go figure.

I went to a gay bar once for a friend's bday. I actually had a lot of fun. They had a good liquor for great prices, and I had fun requesting Smith's and Joy Division songs in between the mishmash of various bass and drum tracks.

Oddly enough there was a drag show that night too...

i acftually have fun when i go to gay bars... one of my best friends is gay, and seriously if i just want to have a drink and a good time without getting harassed by stupid boys trying to get laid... then gay bars are a good time.

but i guess it's different being a chick.

I've only had one bad experience @ a gay bar. But I've also mostly gone with gay friends of mine who'll keep an eye on me and make sure no funny business happens. But seriously, don't kid yourself; they're probably looking at you going "Ewww, that guy's straight". They just know dude, they just know.

2 weekends ago South Beach had Winter party, a sorta small scale White Party(aids fundraising). I had friends in town and they took the wife and I out to a few spots. Fun shenanigans, great time. In the old SF days theys used to block the men's room so I could go pee without getting hit on. Now those are some pals.

I usually have fun at gay bars, but have been to some really, really bad ones. Once in Savannah I witnessed a drunken threeway between 2 girls and a guy in a bathroom stall. The guy kept saying "but I'm gaaaaaaaay".

i went to a gay bar a few times, i actually met a really cute girl there with a vagina and everything (and trust me i was a little worried.)

haven't been in years, not my cup of tea.

i go to the only gay bar in town here occassionally if my brother's in town and there's nothing to do. mostly bull-dykes with comfortable shoes.
