i'm preparing the following meal for my wife and our families on her birthday...

appetizer
-green lentil soup
-olive bread
-spinach empanadillas

entree
-meatballs with mozzarella and tomato
-broiled eggplant parcels

dessert
-iced oranges

sort of a mediterranean theme... if anyone has any suggestions for dinner music, i'm all ears.

take the meat out before you think it is done..and sit it on the counter with foil.. i.e. "rest the meat" for 5 minutes or so it helps it regain its juiciness.

penne ala vodka,

I've always wanted to try this, but the wife has a CTA to vodka so it's been a no-go.

ah dude, that's a shame. but, i prepared it at home one night for my sister-in-law minus the vodka, and it came out fine. plus when cooking it at home you can add as much pancetta as you like.

I love food threads. Y'all done good.

i want to know what "rita potatos" entails.

As for music for the mediterranean dinner, considering that there are going to be old people there, I recommend Quintette Du Hot Club de France, 25 Classics, 1934-1940.

DropZip should be part of the Stuffit folder you got already. Is it there?
