This dude knows how to put on a show. It was going along just fine until he started talking about Chi-town and the greats from there, and then he pulled out Common, and the roof got lifted. Then it got started. Get 'Em High went OFF. And then De La Soul came out and they all shared the stage for a few songs. It was really good seeing the "past, present, and future" of hip-hop all rhyming together on one stage. It was also funny because beforehand i told my mates that he'd probably bring out Common and/or De La Soul and they didn't believe me, being in Australia and all. Kanye also played A-Ha's 'take on me' and he did the whiteboy eighties dance from the original filmclip. It was pretty funny, especially because i didn't know the dude had a sense of humour. He closed with Jesus Walks and then Touch the Sky.
All in all, a good show.
All it needed was Hov. And maybe Paul Wall.
