Me after a hectic trip to SXSW. Fuckin' tons of smokers in Texas -- jesus! I think my lungs are worse than if I had been working in a coal mind for 20+ years. And my feet...christ almighty, they look like overstuffed fat tamales...I don't have any feeling below my ankles. Sleep is definitely a commodity at SXSW.

I'm back, kids -- didja miss me? I have so much to share, photos to show...but right now, I need a big comfy bed with fluffy pillows and warm blankies to caress me while I slumber.

The Flaming Lips performed a couple of unannounced shows of which I got to experience one of them in a wee club (Eternal). Complete with giant balloons and confetti, the short set was quite spectacular and loads of fun!

Richard Hawley was o' so very good! Amazing voice. I definitely recommend seeing him live.
