god, Xiu Xiu isn't that bad...

When I was at SXSW, my boy Austin had just acquired this, so everywhere we went, he was listening to it...I'm sorry if this is offensive, but that album is just too gay for me.

Oh, I don't like 'em either, really, but Holy Mountain hurts me way more than they do. One of my old college roommates (a total stoner, of course) loved Jodorowsky movies.

I'm bumping this to remind me to think about making a list of this.

Also, Before Sunrise was one of this biggest pieces of pretentious crap I've ever seen. I HATE Ethan Hawke. Especially in that movie. I really like a lot of other Linklater films - Dazed and Confused, Waking Life - but this was fucking awful. Is Before Sunset just more of the same and if so I can't understand the love for it. Someone explain this to me.

My updated list (in no particular order):

Chronicles of Riddick
Ghost in the Shell: Innocence
Hellboy
Hero
I, Robot
Kill Bill Vol. 2
Shark Tale
Shaun of the Dead
Stepford Wives
Team America: World Police

Actually, that's a lie -- it's in alphabetical order

Watched it last week. I found it bland. It felt like Monster's Ball/In The Bedroom to me. Although I cannot think of any other movies i feel like the idea of shitty things happening to rich NE'ers is becoming a genre to itself.
