Plans are under way to release a tribute album in honour of the 30th anniversary of Super Rock. To date we have received pledges from a dozen artists including the Plimsouls, Steve Wynn, Dr Explosion, the Maggots, the Woggles, and the Forty Fives. The aim of the project is to say "thank you" to one of the consistently most exciting bands of the last three decades. To that end we want your suggestions for a possible title. At the moment I am happy to call it "We Live In Brooklyn, Baby" but if you can think of something better then by all means use the email link at the bottom of this page and send it along. The best three suggestions will be put to a vote on the website and the album will be named after the winner. So get thinking kids and in the meantime we I will move this baby along and try to figure out a way to get the Dictators and the Hoodoo Gurus involved. Can you imagine how great it would be to hear Handsome Dick Manitoba rapping about the Fleshtones at the end of "American Beat"? Too much.
