Am I the only one? Surely there are others out there that are still cocking an ear to 2004 releases and having a damn hard ponder?

I've been mulling mine over, hard to get to 20. Top 5 or 7 are locked in, after that its a crapshoot.

Still working on mine. Over the weekend I downloaded about 20 albums that I'm gonna try and digest in the next two weeks.

I think I'll be able to narrow down pretty quickly which ones of those will have any shot at my Top 20.

mine won't be ready until almost the end although it's probably going to be a top ten as i've hardly had my socks knocked off by much this year.

Still debating whether I want to compile a top 20. It kills me to agonize over this for days on end.

I'll be putting mine in later tonight...
I'm almost down to 20, and almost down to an order I can stomach...

I have about 30 to 40 others that could just as easily have been in my Top 20, but I bit down hard and made the cuts and decided not to look back.

Still, I bet The Soundtrack Of Our Lives is going be be pretty high for me next year. The technical North American release date is January 6th, even though lots of people already have it.

I also think I've listened to Kings Of Convenience twice as often as any of my Top 20 because it's just a frickin' perfect chill-out recording.

I'm waiting until the very last minute, and even then, it'll be my best guess at the time, as sometimes it takes me days, months, weeks, years to find albums that I may have missed.

L, I only recently found out about a really cool album from 2001 that would have made my top 20 from that year.

I need to update mine! I got that new Autolux album a few days ago and it's really gotten under my skin. Like a new girlfriend (but don't tell the old one). Probably top 5. And that Augie March is stellar. I know, 2002 release according to AMG and shmoo, but 2004 in the USofA and that's what my spinART copy says on the back ;). Too good to ignore. Need to squeeze it into my top 10. But most of my list is just a crapshoot. All depends on what my latest obsession is. Except for the Fiery Furnaces. That really was the best one of the year.

I just bought Arcade Fire today. And there's a handful of others I received for Christmas that I haven't been able to fully digest yet, so I've got to hang on.

I've submitted mine, but I wouldn't be surprised if I changed it once or fourteen times between now and January 15.

i'm not even remotely close to completing mine. heck, i just got the animal collective album (which is indeed pretty darn good).

i will probably wait until the end of the voting period, so as to give myself enough time to check out stuff i'm just now getting around to checking out.

It's on my "to do" list. I was planning to go over all the 2004 release in my library, but I'm quickly losing patience with myself.
