I usually get sick once every 2 years, but the time has finally come and I've been sick for the past few days.

I had a cold for a couple weeks, but I'm (almost) over it now...

I had a weak cold for a few days. I think half of it was the stress of getting dumped. But I didn't even take a Saturday night off.

I haven't had the flu since NYE 97/98 when a woman behind me in a movie theater coughed thru Titanic start to finish. So now I avoid movie theaters during flu season. And I've never had the shot

I live at a latitude of 55° 52', North and my central heating never works.

What do you think?

Don't remember the last sick day I took for cold/flu.

When it comes to whether or not to show up for work, too many people don't know the difference between feeling bad and being sick. I'll only miss work if I've got something spewing out of either end (or *gasp* both simultaneously). Non-projectile aches and pains shouldn't keep people from going to work, unless they just hate their jobs, in which case they should quit and find one they actually like.

I'm really not comfortable with how much I sound like "the man" in this post.
