i get to leave work at 1pm today! w00t!

there is a new policy here.
when you work your assigned 3-hour shift on a saturday....you can take 3 hours comp time.
i work tomorrow from 9 - noon. therefore, i get to leave at 1pm today. (3 hours comp time + my lunch hour.)

and i had completely forgotten about it until TODAY!

yahooooo!

yeah, well. i NORMALLY do too.

there's only 3 saturdays a year i have to work. and i really don't mind because at least i'm here by myself (mostly, except for our circulation and classified departments.) so i can actually concentrate and work in peace for once.

i don't KNOW anybody here except stacey. i've met a few people and pm'd a few people but most people here don't KNOW each other.

this place is a crude and messy water cooler that random, yet dedicated, people stop by everyday in an effort to procrastinate, flirt, kill the pain of boredom and yes, even discuss music.

i haven't JUDGED you on anything because there's nothing to JUDGE you on.
your posts have tended to be goofy and at times a little insipid. okay, so what? i teased you about. it was all in good fun but you take everything to heart. i was even talking to someone about laying off because you do seem to take things so seriously.

maybe you missed the teasing i've taken around here for referring to women's breasts as just that, as oppoised to tits ansd boobs. i laughed at every single post and took it as endearing (for the most part) gestures.
