I loved in 8th grade when it came out. But eventually it fell victim to cd baseball in the 10th grade.

Hated it at the time, but loved their last one.

never owned it and was definetely dismissive of it at the time but SHIT, there are some great singles that have held up on it.

I'd probably classify it as "underrated" I'm perplexed as to why people hate Green Day.

Looking at it scientifically, I'd venture that his faking of a british accent gets some people. It should get me, but dammit that Idiot album just has too much of the Stuff on it to reject.

I've heard other Green Day albums but I've never felt the need to own any others except this one. Lots of great singles.

Yeah. His guitar tone is great and I've always really like the way the bassist sounds/is mixed.

They make the best flavor of Pop Punk around, for sure. I think maybe he doesn't realize, though, that you don't haaave to pronounce everything like Johnny Rotten.

I don't like them because it sounds like they took the Ramones and removed all the balls from it. Also it seems like they take themselves seriously.

I'm thinking the different pronunciation between Dookie and Blahblah made the parody a tad too subtle. Or not funny at all.

So, weirdly enough, it turned into a discussion about music. Who'da thunk?

Sometimes competence sneaks up on us, dispite our best efforts.

It got lost in pronunciation. When I say 'dookie' it sounds like 'cookie', not 'dukey'

Yeah, his inflection can be really annoying though to be honest, J. Rotten's is worse. But I guess that may have something to do with my complete hatred of the Sex Pistols and PiL.

It's a rare, rare situation when some asshole sneers at me and makes every sentence exxxtra snotty, and I somehow like the treatment.
