That UCLA/Memphis game was the worst display of basketball I've seen in a long, long time. You would have thought this game was played in October the way they were so rough. That said, glad to see the Bruins advance because they are the better team.

"Whaddhesay?" - Fat, black Toyota, lab coat guy.

A lot of the bricks were a result of great defense... UCLA's man-to-man is one of the best, most consistent in years. Shooting threes against is is very hard, they are so fast, athletic and strong beyond the stripe.

But it is surreal for a long-time Bruin fan.... how many times have the Bruins flown down court with afterburners blazing and someone...Walton, Curtis Rowe, Jamal Wilkes, Sidney Wicks, Marcus Johnson, Dave Meyers, Reggie Miller, Ed O'Bannon... has launched at the top of key and soared Jordanesquely to the rim. About 40 times a game. UCLA, no offense, weird.

I didn't see that at all... I saw two teams that played way too fast and were completely out of control. Bad decisions on passes, shots and everything else.

The Pac-10's defense has upgraded siginifcantly this season... but, it's still a little on the soft side. Good luck against the Tigers... I think you're big enough to handle their two studs.

If I'm reading this right, if UCLA beats LSU on Saturday, I win. Is that correct? Does that one game count 16 points?

This is the first time I've filled out more than 1 bracket ( I did 2 ) & I don't know why I bothered. I absolutely fucking TANKED in both...went 32-32 in one, & 33-31 in the other. I've never done anywhere near this poorly...I didn't have ANY Final Four teams correct in EITHER bracket.

Just a friggin' bloodbath...glad I didn't have any $$$ ridin' on it.

Ah, yes---I didn't look at that.

Can they beat George Mason?

Well, the Final Four entry I was least sure about was the one that got in. Nice one, Gators.

...and I'm done. Am pleased with of 6 of my Elite Eight and a top 5 place barring UCLA winning out, though.

Go George Mason. Larranaga!!!!!!

Let me rephrase. Can they beat FLA?

I'm a big Gator fan all of a sudden.

Whoever wins, I probably won't be purchasing your cd until late May or June, but no later than that. I'm in the process of moving to a better place and have a wedding I'm forced to attend.

You'd be hard-pressed to name me a worse Saturday of final four basketball. This tournament is the worst one I can remember.

Disagree (of course). The games were not competitive, but both Florida and UCLA played beautifully. Especially UCLA, in ever aspect of the game, put on a clinic. Threes, power under the hoop, offensive rebounding, spectacular passing...and the defense. What's not to like?

Really? The 2 games yesterday aside, I think this tourney is at least on par with most---a cinderella, at least 4 or 5 buzzer beaters, and several more very close competetive games.

Go Gators.
