What did you take in college or university? Did you go?

I'm thinking of taking a two-year general business course this fall. Just because I don't have the marks to get into university and colleges severely lack in anything English-related.

My wife's about to start one, hopefully, but she and I are both knee-deep in MBA programs. That doesn't help you, does it?

When my ex and I started our booking agency, he buddied up with a few local business owners and basically took notes. His college degree is in Logistics and he minored in writing. For books and stuff, he just relied on online programs (quicken, etc) and referred to friends who were accountants and lawyers for advice when questions came up.

Basically, just do a lot of networking and you can get yourself some free advice that way.

I studied Marketing in college but quit going, because every marketing class was the fucking same, and I only enjoyed going to Economics classes, but didn't want an Econ degree.

You can't teach entrepreneurship. It's a wiring in your brain thing. I'm don't think I'm wired that well to be an entrepreneur, but I can sell designs without too much trouble.
