I have like 3 Matador comps and I never listen to any of them despite the fact that out of 6 or 7 discs at least 80% of the music is stuff that is listenable, if not downright classic.

The first disc of that comp. is freakin' amazing. I bought so many records because of it...spoon, bettie serveert, bailter space, superchunk, helium, the fall.
