Ok, we all know that most resoultons are broken by the end of January. So, rather then list all the things you will definitely do in 2005 (only to be dissapointed when you break it in 30 days), name some of the things you wish for yourself in 2005.

1) Eat better. (Easier said then done. Time to really alter my diet. I have made big strides since being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, but not nearly enough to please my doctor or my long term health. Im gonna do my darndist.)

2. TV goes off at Midnight. (No more pointless re-runs that keep me up to 3am. I watch reruns of Three's Company that I have seen millions of times already. If I'm still awake, Ill jump into the pile of books have awaiting me.)

3. No more impulse shopping. (Having disposable income is a blessing and a curse. Im gonna try and do less of it andmore saving, which in theliong run will lead to an earlier retirement.)

4. HIt the gym at least 3 times a week instead of 1. (see #1)

5. Stop making lists for everything. (Being anal is not fun.)

6. Become competent in one of the following: Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Quark.

7. Get back in touch with my cousins. (All my elder family members grew up within blocks of eachother and were all really close. All my cousins around my age, are spread out across the country, and I only really see and talk to them at family gatherings one or twice a year. We always make plans to stay in touch and visit, but it never pans out. Im gonna make a better attempt to stay in touch, as i have some really cool cousins.)

- Slow down: Be awake by sunrise, be home by sundown (6 out of 7 nights a week)
- Detox until my body says stop, with no attachment to a length of time or amount of weight dropped
- Embrace my singlehood fully (stop looking for chix)

- more cycling-- start earlier in the year, consistently ride and hopefully get into the best shape possible.
- actually get out and cross country ski this year (snow levels aren't looking so hot right now though)
- pay off the damned credit card
- see more of Oregon (more of the U.S. if finances allow for it)
-concentrate on the good friendships I've maintained/made over the last year.
- climb a 5.10 rated route consistently and without any takes.
- read more
- work on being a better wife/companion and friend.

Drink more;

but, in so doing, Limit myself to succulent single-malt Scotch, or exquisite martinis;

(if I get the promotion, and subsequent pay-hike) Buy one new CD, and by new I mean, just out its first week, per week;

but, Only one CD per week;

Embrace my single standing, and gallivant about the posh East-side without looking too much (thus, embracing the advice of the CD double-set from the Fall which I bought... damn, which I bought five years ago (Thanksgiving Weekend '99, along with PTL's 'The Only Reason I Feel Secure (is that I am validated by my peers)' and the Stereo's 'Anthology'), the advice being "the less you look the more you find";

in so doing, Reconnoiter with that which I should have gleaned from the rare, but wonderful, occasion when a female has deigned to show interest in me, that while I am a boring, blah, dulling, and all-round buzz-kill of a person, when I am the mysterious [sic], largely laconic dolt (with blazing blue eyes), there is a type of woman, and damned if not attracting (and considerably, in comparison to me), that will approach me;

Target my molasses-slow sexual maturation to becoming the (cliche, yes, but I like the idea of it) serial monagamist [sic], on the make with one dame for a bit, and revelling in her company (and, hopefully, she doing the same in mine), but peaceably splitting it off after a piece and moving on, each, to another, for a few months of coquettish, touchy fun with a second, then third, fourth, fifth, etc.;

Finish my "anthology" (only five entries left, but the last one completed, way back in March, took it all out of me... it was a monstruous biograph, but, really, all these months later, my cover is still blown and not recovered, the pot boiled over and bereft?);

the End.
