This year is going to be the third year of the Lincoln Calling Festival, and an aquaintance of mine who started the festival with several local bar promoters is looking to people like myself involved in the local scene to come up with some bands they'd like to see. The idea behind the festival is to get regional and national acts that don't usually play here to come and perform, usually with one or two established local bands. Last year, the big show was a Team Love Records showcase and the year before it was Statistics.
I know a few Obnerians have played shows in Ames and have bands in the midwest area, but I was wondering if offered, would any Obnerians be interested in playing this festival. I'd like to put in a good word for people and actually get some of the Obnerians to visit Lincoln.

It is tentatively scheduled for September 14-16, Thursday through Saturday.
