Sound much better at higher volumes for me... anyone else?

And bump for the middle of the week crowd and amp/guitar/combo suggestions from Busty, Squirrgle, KPH, Todd, other musicians...

pretty good phil. i still find myself listening to a batch of songs of yours i have on my computer..."don't worry gina" and some others. i can't say that i dig on this track as much as that. whoever said sthg about "that thing you do" was kind of right. wish i hadn't have read that before hearing it.

Dig it, thanks chase.

I don't mind the "That Thing You Do" comparison, although I went and listened to that track and mine side by side with my brother, and he thought it struck him as more Elvis Costello-y, specifically for him, "Angels Wanna Wear My Red Shoes". Maybe that'll put a better spin on it for you.

Phil, this is pretty good, but something to me just makes your voice sound a little out of tune. It really does sound Elvis like to me. This is by far, a better musical production than your other stuff. I love your writing, keep it up.

(btw, is Angie the name of your new lady-friend?)

Nope.

And it is out of tune, it's just a demo, and midnight is a bad time to record vocals.

I'm glad you think it sounds Elvis-y, and that jamie hears some Jon Brion. That just made my day. I'll work on it soon to clean it up.
