Bad Brains wins of the choices given. Although, Minor Threat and Black Flag also hold a special place in my heart.. It's funny, I didn't see this thread until now and I was rocking Agnostic Front at lunch going to get Editors/Stellastar tics...Any way..I kinda agree with the Misfits bridge idea, I know I always saw all the meatl kids wearing fiends shirts all the time back in the day...Other than Ace of Spades, I didn't really like Motorhead that much..Maybe it was that small country living on Lemmy's face or something.

What about some NYHC ?? I still love me some Gorilla Biscuits and I was listening to Youth of Today's Break Down The Walls just yesterday..

Anyone see that DRI is going on tour this year ??? To bad they ain't playing anywhere close to me...Them bastards...

Are the Cro-Mags considered HC? Any of the old Lamour bands rate up there.

Flipper all the way for me.

I was gonna say that this is up there for me. Damaged had probably the most profound impact on me punkwise though.

since it's being covered today in a different thread:

"stink" & "sorry ma, i forgot to take out the trash"

and for the sake of being nostalgic, fear "s/t"

I guess Fresh Fruit, as it's the only one I've ever owned, stolen by an englishman named trevor in new zealand in 1997. I'm not sure what constitutes hardcore, I have never had an x on my hand (booze! my true love!), and I don't own a flannel shirt.

This thread reminds me of my brother.

My vote goes to Minor Threat

Most of this stuff is tuneless and unlistenable.

Never owned a flannel, did own a 7 Seconds t, though in like 6th Grade
