Good God I'm Bored

Can't believe I even had to come into the office today. Being the new guy, I'm "holding down the fort." Of course, there's nothing to do, and nobody is picking up their phone.

Just waiting for the word from HQ as to when I can go home. Better be by 3pm. My drinking is supposed to start at 5:30.

We do have Monday off, so I can't really complain...

Yeah me too. But oddly enough we are pretty busy here. But I'm sort of bored, and cranky.

Nothing a few NYE cocktails can't take care of. And they just brought out some wine & pizza over here. Not bad.

I hear ya. I just went out with the boss and some co-workers for Margaritas and beers for lunch. I'm now sleepy and want to leave more than ever.

My sister in law and my brother are here with friends getting spa stuffs done.

And my 5 mos old nephew is with them. She's getting her nails done and I'm babbling at the baby and he grabs my finger and holds it for a minute.

All of a sudden the sis in law notices, FREAKS out and screams at me and grabs baby wipes to wash his hands. Says she refuses to let him get sick and he can't get sick and no one is ever allowed to touch his hands.

Oh. My. Fucking. God.

The two ladies sitting next to her getting their nails done looked at her like she's a freak and then looked at me like oh, my.

I explained to the freak that babies sometimes have to get sick. And I had one too it's ok. This is her third kid, and she acts like she's the only woman on the planet to ever give birth.

I'm bored a lot. I don't know what I do with the time, but I haven't pulled my hair out or resorted to dressing my chihuahua or anything yet.

Nah, it's her third kid. But as was reported by one of our subcontractors that did work on their house over the summer" she pointed to her stomach and said this is MY ticket, this baby is MY ticket".

She's even got my brother whipped. I told my husband, my sister and my mom this story tonight. They all said she's nuts.
